| Back by popular demand for it's 3rd year running... Our summer bead & mixed media craft program for really cool kids ages 7+ all summer! Small group size of 8. Pick and choose your days! Sign up for one day or a whole week! We'll be creating very cool projects all summer long! Most projects will be an experience with mixed media...bead and paint, beads and foam, beads and weaving, beads and wire, etc. Basically, beads and FUN! Sometimes we'll skip the beads and use entirely different materials to create! ...and just some of the projects we'll be creating: sun catchers, bookmarks, wind chimes, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, anklets, toe & finger rings,cell phone charms, jewelry boxes, memory boxes, create & paint beads, pins, key rings,back pack dangles, hair extensions, charm bracelets, crystal t-shirts, flip flops, diaries, pens, cards, clay pendants, wire wrapping, wig jiggies, engraving dog tags, memory wire, tiaras, magic wands, pirate patches & pouches (argh!), scrunchies, barettes, hair clips, purses, wallets, puppets, masks, sunglasses...and so much more! Registration begins March 1st and ends when classes are full. Don't miss out! | The Details...(aka The Scoop)! Where: bella beads awesome air conditioned classroom space When: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm-ish...please be patient you can't rush art! How Many: small group of 8 children per session Who: Really cool kids ages 7+ who love beads & crafts! Teen Scene on Fridays only for ages 12+. What to bring: A water bottle labeled with your name, small (peanut free) snack, good sense of humor (we've got lots of silly bead jokes!) & a fabulous smile! The Instructors: Extremely cool AHS students: Amy, Kylie and Molly, Emily &Charlotte (along with Carla) who have been carefully chosen & trained not only because they are very creative &love to work with kids, but are also amazing role models! (Did we mention they are also year round employees at bella?) How Much: Fee posted for each day includes all materials, instruction & fun. Group Rate: Have a scout troop or group of 6 or more that want to come together for the same day? We'll give you a 10% discount off the fee when you register together! | June 29: Flip Flop Frenzy 1: Fee: $50 Ages 7+ Decorate flip flops for your feet, make a flip flop necklace & charm bracelet set, then decorate a ceramic flip flop trinket box to put your flip flop earrings in! June 30: Summer Fun! Fee: $35 Ages 7+ Bead a jump rope, create a seed bead necklace & bracelet, bling up sunglasses, then create a slide bead & pony bead bangle. July 1: Peace, Love & Happiness 1: Fee: $45 Ages 7+ Design a dog tag necklace (use our engravers if you'd like) with 3 charms, create a finger & toe ring, make a peace bracelet & bead removable hair extensions. Then make a wish, write it down, and tuck it into your "wish jar" necklace with a few stars and fairy dust! July 2: Teen Scene 1: Time 2 Chill Fee: $55 Ages: 12+ Embellish a pair of flip flops, design a peace sign bracelet & earrings set, and create a beaded stretchy ring & cell phone charm. Then use them all summer loooong! July 20: It’s My UN-Birthday, Too! Fee: $45 Ages 7+ Do you LOVE your birthday? Ever wanted to celebrate your birthday when it’s not? Then let’s do it! We’ll be making bella’s most popular birthday party projects! We’ll start with a name bracelet, make a daisy or fairy pendant necklace & anklet, and finish with a jewelry box & earrings set. And of course, we will sing happy UN-birthday to us all, receive “goodie” bags and eat cupcakes! July 21: Flip Flop Frenzy 2 Fee: $50 Ages: 7+ Decorate flip flops for your feet, make a flip flop necklace & charm bracelet set, then decorate a ceramic flip flop trinket box to put your flip flop earrings in! July 22: Karma Chameleon Fee: $35 Ages 7+ Do you love all the colors of the rainbow? Do you have a hard time deciding which colors to choose? Do you like surprises? Then these projects are for you! Each of the 4 projects we’ll be creating will have every color of the rainbow in it…guaranteed. But we’re keeping them top secret. Are you colorfully courageous enough to choose this class? We’ll see… July 23: Teen Scene 2: Your Mama’s Beading Class…NOT! Fee: $75 Ages 12+ Learn how to design, measure, string, crimp and attach clasps for necklaces & bracelets. Learn how to use jump rings, form simple loops & wrapped loops to make earrings and dangles. You will leave with all the basics, your very own instruction booklet, tool kit (retail value $45) and at least 6 pieces of very cool jewelry! July 27: Aaahh...Sugar, Sugar Fee: $45 Ages 7+ Create an interchangeable "cool" ice cream cone, popsicle and snowcone necklace with a set of candy or cupcake earrings to go with it! Then create a "gum ball pendant" necklace. Add to that a glittery candy girl jewelry box and you're all sugared up! We will even munch on some edible candy jewelry, too! July 28: Peace, Love, Happiness 2 Fee: $45 Ages 7+ Create a heart pendant necklace, finger & toe rings, peace bracelet, jazzy jean jewelry, and beaded colored hair extensions! Then choose your favorite color bracelet to decorate with rubber buttons…too cool. July 29: Beachy Scene Fee: $40 Ages 7+ Create a water globe, sun catcher, a faux sea glass floating necklace and anklet, and a message in a bottle necklace complete with “water, sand, and shells”. Then embellish a tote bag you can use for all your stuff! Sun screen not required! July 30: Teen Scene 3: Hippie Chick Fee: $60 Ages 12+ Learn to make a personalized necklace using our hand stamps, metal smithing tools, charms and crystals. Learn to make a finger & toe ring, bead a peace bracelet & a removable colored hair extension. Then choose an ipod cover to decorate with rubber buttons…too cool. Oh yeah, we’ll also make a cell phone charm and some bling to jazz up your jeans! Wow…was that 8 projects you’ll leave with?! August 10: Peace, Love &…Fairies? Fee: $45 Ages 7+ Create a fairy pendant necklace, heart bracelet, peace sign anklet and a “wish upon a star” necklace with fairy dust. Then choose a rubber bracelet to decorate with rubber buttons…too cool. August 11: Passion 4 Fashion! Fee: $50 Ages 7+ Design a blinged out crystal t-shirt & sunglasses, make two pair of earrings & an anklet, then bead a removable colored hair extension. August 12: It's MY Room! Fee: $40 Ages 7+ Embellish your own white message board, door name sign & shade pull. Then scrap a picture frame to put a picture of you and your best buds in. We’ll also bling out a cardboard trinket box. August 13: Teen Scene 4: I’m A Wrap Star! Fee: $75 Ages 12+ Learn to create colored wire earrings, pendants, necklace & bracelet links using a wig jig tool kit. Then wire a glass vase and decorate a votive candle holder. Teens will leave with their own wig jig tool & wire kit complete with glass & seed beads to use at home (a $35 value)! August 17: Me, Myself, & I Fee: $45 Ages 7+ Love stuff with your name on it? Create an anklet using your name beads and a charm, then make a memory wire seed bead name bracelet and beaded necklace with a personalized hand stamped pendant. Let’s throw in a pair of initial earrings to match! Sooooo you! August 18: Charm School Fee $45 Ages 7+ Make two different styles of charm bracelets, learn how to turn any bead into a charm, and create an interchangeable charm necklace. We’ll also learn to make charm earrings and dazzling super blingy charm to attach to your jeans! How Charming! August 19: School Spirit Fee: $40 Ages 7+ You don’t have to be a cheerleader to show school spirit! Create an entire jewelry ensemble (necklace, bracelet & anklet) with your school name, initials and colors on it. If you research your school mascot we can hand stamp it on a pendant for you. How about creating a personalized bookmark with school colors to put in your book?! Rah, rah! August 20: Teen Scene 5: For MY ears Only! Fee: $60 Ages 12+ Decorate a black metal music note earring organizer, a ceramic earring box, choose an ipod cover with rubber buttons to bling out for your tunes, then make up to 8 pair of earrings to hang on the holder. Did I hear someone say we’ll also learn to make a cell phone charm with interchangeable beads and charms? Way cool! August 24: It’s Sooo My Locker Fee: $50 Ages 7+ Decorate a magnetic mirror & pocket organizer for your locker, create a beaded book mark, embellish a mini notebook (you’ll also receive a multi color pen!), then design your very own cool backpack dangle. You’ll be ready for the first day when you leave bella! August 25: Ugh! Get Ready For School Fee: $45 Ages 7+ Learn to design three types of bookmarks, create a backpack dangle with interchangeable charms, bead a looong jump rope, then bling up a mini note book that comes with a multi color pen! Put it all in a bella beads tote bag! August 26: A, B, C, D, E, F, G… Fee: $40 Ages 7+ Create a necklace, bracelet and a back pack dangle with your name or initials on it. Then bead a jump rope to use at recess! You’ll be all set for the first day of school! August 27: Teen Scene 6: It’s All About Me! Fee: $50 Ages 12+ Love stuff with your name on it? Create an anklet using your name beads and a charm, then make a memory wire seed bead name bracelet and beaded necklace with a personalized hand stamped pendant. Let’s throw in a pair of initial earrings to match! Sooooo you! |
